Alex Alves (Alexandre Scozzafave Alves) was born on April 26, 1975, in the South American city of Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, located in the Brazilian interior. His journey took him to the University Mackenzie in São Paulo, Brazil, where he pursued data processing and software analysis when financial constraints halted his formal graduation. Having migrated to Canada as a young adult, Alex built a life, marrying a Canadian and becoming a father of three. A self-taught software developer, he contributed his creativity to renowned businesses like Planet Poker and 3xLogic, mastering languages from Python to PHP and venturing into diverse fields such as audio processing and solid design.
Alex’s expertise expanded into micro-controllers and hybrid apps for mobile devices. In 2016, his life took a distinct turn. Wandering Victoria’s streets, he noticed peculiarities in the fire hydrants, embarking on a quest to unveil their significance.
